The process of software engineering is very methodical, when done right everything can feel like it is all coming together smoothly. Within game design there will always be hiccups, changes, and last minute alterations but extensive planning of all parts involved in creating a game makes it magnitudes less stressful. Take the time to give even the small things some thoughts and you may thank yourself in the long run.
